Het doel van Kuehne + Nagel Logistics BV was een virtuele weergave te laten ontwikkelen van haar nieuwe magazijn in Tiel.

Deze weergave moest op de Oculus Rift zichtbaar zijn met de ervaring dat de “speler” zich in het echte magazijn waant.

De “speler” kan als order picker of als vorkheftruck chauffeur door het magazijn lopen of rijden. Op basis van de indeling en de producten van het magazijn is het complete magazijn zowel aan de buitenzijde als aan de binnenzijde in 3D ontwikkeld.

Als vorkheftruck chauffeur heb je de mogelijkheid om pallets met producten te verplaatsen.

The goal of Kuehne + Nagel Logistcs BV was to make a virtual environment of its new warehouse in Tiel.

This virtual environment had to be presented on the Oculus Rift and had to give the “player” the experience of being in the real physical warehouse.

The “player” can walk or drive through the warehouse as being the order-picker or the reach truck driver. Based on the lay-out and products the complete warehouse (both inside as well as outside)  been developed in 3D.

As a reach truck driver you have the possibility to move pallets with products from one location to another.
